Manifest Quest
Summary
This game was made for Global Game Jam 2025 at NYU! The theme was bubbles so our idea was to make a game that lets the players use the thought bubbles of characters in a puzzle like manor to find unique paths.
What I Did
I primarily worked on the narrative of the game, (Ie working on what interactions would cause what.) and then implementing them all into the game. Alongside that, I was leading the team and giving everyone their tasks and keeping track of all assets. I also coded some parts.
What I Learned
This game was a lot of fun especially working with people I never had before. I felt like this type of level design was cool and was really happy with how every step went. Normally game jams are chaotic, but it felt extremely organized where everyone always knew what to work on and everything came together nicely. I also really liked portraying a narrative where no characters could speak in any fashion and just emote.
